Moral Rights worth something
If yo ever wondered whether moral rights were all junk and just some namby pamby feel good add on to the Copyright Act then take note of Adams v Quasar Management Services Pty Ltd & Ors [2002] QSC 223.
In Adams the inclusion of a work falsely attributed did not in itself cause financial loss but was to be considered when making a reward for breach of contract ($65,000.00).
It looks like moral rights may be concurrent and work to bump up the damage.
