US Marshalls v the bandido

It looks like US companies are really out to protect thier copyright.

In Griffiths v United States of America [2005] FCAFC 34 the Full Court of the Federal COurt had to decide whether a criminal infringer of software through the internet was to be extradited to the US.

The hacker in this case took valuable software and provided it through a pirate warez site.

The question here was whether there were grounds to challenge the extradition.

Nothing about internet law but it is interesting that someone would go so far for what appears to be a small amount of infringement. I guess youve been warned, Yee Haaa.
